REBOOT At Kinder Uni : Sequel 2!
For the second year in a row, the REBOOT team is proud to announce its participation at the Kinder Uni 2025! This year, we are hosting an immersive film scripting workshop on July 8th, titled: “ Insights into the world of filmmaking: How do you write a film story?” tailored for young creatives aged 7 to 12 at the University of Vienna’s Campus.
The Kinder Uni, one of Europe’s largest children’s universities (operating since 2003), opens its doors for two weeks every year, inviting children to explore the future and experience the university world through its lively motto: “ We turn the university upside down!”
Do you love films and have perhaps ever wondered what it would be like to make a film yourself? In this workshop, we will take a look behind the scenes: working in teams, children will invent their own story for a film! Where should it be set? What happens? And which characters will appear? Through this playful and collaborative approach, participants will begin to understand how film stories are built from the ground up.
The workshop combines education with entertainment; participants will gain confidence, teamwork skills, and a deeper appreciation for storytelling, all while working with adapted professional tools designed for young minds. Via this unique platform, we share insights and findings from our ongoing research project with the community - planting the seeds of cinematic passion, showing children the magic of European films.
