Concluding the REBOOT journey: A letter from Greece

Concluding the REBOOT journey: A letter from Greece

Participating in the REBOOT project as a researcher in the ELIAMEP team was an enriching professional experience, but also personally meaningful, as it was my first Horizon Europe project. From the very start I found the collaborative spirit across partners and institutions inspiring, the diversity of perspectives refreshing, and the shared commitment to strengthening European film competitiveness motivating. Working closely with colleagues from different countries (great teams of academics, researchers and experts) brought fresh insights, encouraged me as an EU law researcher to think beyond familiar frameworks, and it deepened my appreciation for the value of cross-disciplinary partnerships.

What stayed with me most was how much we learned together about navigating complex research challenges while building trust and mutual respect. The REBOOT project gave me the opportunity to engage with experts on the European cultural and audiovisual sectors, to contribute to impactful research reports, papers, policy-oriented outputs, and conferences, as well as to experience firsthand the potential of collaborative research to make a difference for European film. I am grateful for the opportunity and look forward to seeing how our research continues to resonate beyond the project itself.
